Ha Ha… somebody wrote burpee and muscle up in the same sentence.
B. 15 Burpee+Pullup+Ring Dip = ~2:20
Great energy 6am’rs. Thanks for giving us creative/fun options for B today OG.
I agree with scottw.
I did a burpee then did a muscle up. I definitely did not jump into a muscle-up bc I need to get set for the MU. Did 10 then tapped out.
A. All sprints were around 40 seconds. Ran out of steam on the last one.
B. Did 15 burpees which felt awful after the runs.
Practiced some sort of MU movement with a blue band on the rings.
Thanks Todd!
Well done on the negatives Sue and Cindy!
A: Row 1200m – did rowing instead of running but for some reason I did two 400m rows and then realized it was supposed to be 200m. So finished off with two 200m rows.
B: 15 burpee+ring pullup+T2R – didn’t keep track of the time.
Fun class. Thanks for the coaching OG. Death metal sound track during rowing really helped alot – thanks Gord & Tag.
A: Runs between 38-39 sec
B: 15 burpees then played on the rings
Honestly when I first looked at this WOD I thought the runs would be a cake walk, not so much. Totally out of breath and jello legs by the 4th round.
Great advice on the movement today Todd, awesome class…thank you!
A: 46,43,35,33 sec
B:didn’t keep track if time and played with the muscle ups. Having a difficult time transitioning on the negatives but like the scale with the band to get a feel for the motion.
Thanks Todd, fun class this am and nice to see soapy faces at 10:30!
A. Runs we’re between 35-39 this was harder than I thought. The legs felt really weak.
B. 15 Burpees were hard my legs were so tired.
Worked on doing negitives and used the band for the transitions.
I really enjoyed this WOD and the great weather.
We had some fast runners at the 9:30 class.
A 31,33,32,33
B 13:20ish. Had a lot more success after used Danes ‘Magic’ Rings, way to set the pace today.
Really fun Wod. Great coaching as always Erin and her assistant Chelsea. Really liked the running skills and drills.
A. 33-35-37-36 I haven’t sprinted in a LONG time (since my heel striking/knee problem days) but it was fun.
B. Never thought I would say burpees were the easy part… 13:56.
15 burpees and 19 attempts to get the 15 mu. I missed 2 random ones and got the final mu on my third try.
I think only one actually counted (with full ext at the bottom), but my false grip is a work in progress.
Thanks Erin. (And Chelsea for the beach party!)
Front squat 3r x 6s to 265 then:
40 burpees
50 DU
30 burpees
50 DU
20 burpees
50 DU
9:45
A: 37/38/35/36 still getting used to some new shoes
B: 4:53 with jumping MUs to rings a generous 22″ below overhead reach
Thanks Erin/J for coaching and Brett for your points about scaling and the intention of strength days vs conditioning workouts.
34/35/34/35
9:02 for 15 burpee, limbo off the floor muscle ups.
Thanks for coaching Erin.
A. 35/35/36/39 – bad cramp on last run
B. 5-6 min with a jumping muscle up; first time for me
Thanks to Erin, Jay and Brett for all the coaching/tips/cues!
A. 38/37/36/35
B. About 8 minutes doing jumping muscle ups. Today was going to be a day off but I need to work on my muscle ups. Thanks for all the tips Erin and Jason.
A: 29/31/35/32…a little slow down for round 3, but other than that kept within the max 10% decrease coach Brett mentioned.
B: 5:24 as Rx’d, but was more burpee then muscle up than “burpee muscle up”
Thanks for the coaching Erin!
