Modified WOD – pushups against a jump box, think it came to around 17 minutes (had to do some math today – combine with a poor memory and ~17 is the answer!)

Pushups are a weakness of mine, but they felt better than they have in the past. Everything else in the workout was a welcome break from pushups.

19:45 almost as rx’d, reps 30 there was some mixing of regular push ups and from the knees.
Push-ups faded quickly from 25 in a row to 3 in a row to 1 in a row.
Tried anchored sit-ups. Was able to fatigue my abs. Hard to do that un-anchored.
18:45 first 50 PU’s from toes rest from knees
The first round I did 30 PU from my toes, my form fell apart, and did the remaining PU from my knees. I might have bruises on my knees as proof I touched the floor for the lunges.

Seminars ran late today, went to U of C gym instead of being 30 mins late for the last class.
Tried “manmakers” (see OPT blog) to warm up, with 25# per hand. These are awesome.
DL, 185×5, 205×5, 225×5, 235×5
Bench, 95×5, 115×5, 125×4 + spot
Jumping squats cycle, 5 rounds, 10 reps + 10 seconds “rest” below parallel. This is also a quick and pretty awesome squat exercise.
Ahhh DJ, the naked lunger.
