1000m row – 3:51
Worked on handstand holds from the wall
Feeling pretty trashed from yesterday. Still had fun. Good instruction on rowing and proper handstand body position.
Thanks Derek! 👊🏼

handstand holds from the wall. These are getting a lot better and starting to get a couple seconds not touching the wall.

Thanks coach!!

Handstand holds were fantastic today – it finally clicked and I now feel the stability in my hands. Really happy with that. I think I made it to about 20 ish seconds on my best round. Great job everyone.
Rowing: 3:22 total. 1:41.3/500m average. And my lungs are Burning!!! Great job everyone. Some major effort this morning.

Handstand holds went ok, haven’t done any handstand practise in a long time and it showed.
1000m row went a bit better

Thanks Brett

HSH – some success today. Had a couple of attempts that were right around 15s and was relatively stable for portions of that. Jeremy you killed it today. Think you were at least 20s on your best attempt and you hardly moved an inch. Great job with these 6:30 add 9:30.
Row – 3:34. This is 5 seconds faster than the last time. Maybe came out a little hot and was barely hanging on from 600 to 900m. Had a reasonably strong push the final 100. Thanks for the encouragement Adam!
Thanks Brett.

Practiced handstand holds from the wall. These seem a little better, and starting to notice/feel the stability in the hands. A few small ones with feet away, and one for about 10 seconds..
1000m row 4:00 – knew this was going to be tough! Had pretty consistent pace, but feel I could have pushed a little harder! Some unreal efforts and times at 9:30!
Thanks Coach and Derek P. 👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Basically, just stellar performances all around in the 9:30 Crew. Some big moves relative to handstand work and some really good efforts on the rows. All around awesomeness!!!!!

Definitely some of the best handstand holds I’ve had. Maybe 5 seconds or so best one. Most open and stacked I’ve felt, especially for the first few sets.
Row was 3:22.4. Plan was to try hold a 1:40. Stayed around 1:38 for first 400m – felt better than I thought, then started to taper slowly to about a 1:40, then ping ponged between 1:40-1:45 or worse. Tried to kick it up for last 250m.
Knew this one would hurt, but didnt think it would be this bad. Again, that’s what you get for taking a month off I guess. Haven’t been this messed up after a WOD in quite a while. We’ll leave it at that. Ha.
Thanks Daniel for being an awesome coach/cheer section! Nice work all around tonight, some awesome efforts!
Thanks Brett!

Good work 545! Thanks Brett.

3:47 and still kind of alive. Next time, will not eat dinner right before this one. Did not help that I had to stop to try not to barf at least twice.
Got both feet off the wall for possibly an entire second! Watch out, Katrin Davidsdotter!!!
Thanks, Mike for busting my butt on the row! Needed it.
Thanks, Brett!

Mixed bag tonight.
Managed 2 kick ups without assistance which is huge for me.
The row…….as usual came out WAY too hot and crashed around the 500m mark and quit.
I really need to work in my rowing mental game.
3:18.8
Ouch.
Thanks Derek and Sydney!
