Tabata Something Else

Coach’s notes:  Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.  Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.

Disappointing regression. Might be partially due to last night’s 250 squats and 125 Medball lunges.

Running Clock Chin ups
Rounds = 19 + 12
Total Chin ups = 202
Paced it more with only doing sets of 5 then quick rest. Much better
Could have gone on farther but hand ripped and needed repair, ran out of time.

Next time 21 or better!

Iced the knee, can put pressure on leg but can’t bend the knee with ease. Probably still swollen…off the the physio I go!

Great work by all in class today…with all the grunts it sounded like swarms of tennis players practising their ace serves at Wimbledon!

Could have something to do with the squats and lunges in Tues class.
Posting now on Wednesday morning and my squat muscles are sore.
Spam filter or something prevented yesterday’s same posting.


Pull-ups: 13,9,7,3,3,2,3,4 = 44
Push-ups:9,7,6,5,3,3,4,3 = 40
Sit-ups: 16,14,13,15,14,13,12,14 = 111
Squats: 16,14,15,14,13,12,13,16 = 113

Total = 308
Grunts = 57

I like this one because, with Brett calling out the time and the sets remaining, I was always able to find a couple more reps towards the end after fading in the middle.
