Pre-workout:
5 sets:
3 squat clean and strict presses
– Each set must be completed unbroken.
– Increase load across as many sets as possible.

5 rounds for time:
12 hang power clean and jerks (75/115 lb)
9 thrusters
6 power snatches

Coach’s notes:

Post load for all sets of pre-workout complex and time for triplet to comments.

First day back after 26 days off holidaying. Sweated a puddle of wine and cheese in the corner. Probably should have scaled! Oh well, good to move anyways.

Great WOD but horrible. Really horrible. “I want to die. Put a bullet in my head.”—horrible.

Started with 95#, then 85#, then 75#. Sweet Jesus, I was so tired from the last 2 days but I desperately did not want to quit. I recovered and felt grateful in the end.

I am so sorry I dropped the empty bar today. Unlike the Chinese weight lifters I actually feel bad about my actions. But there was just a little moment when it felt kinda good. Darth Vader appeared before me holding his outstretched hand… to be continued.
