Snatch Grip Deadlift – 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2
Coach’s notes: Post load for each set to comments.
Important Notice! Due to CrossFit Calgary hosting the Western Canada CrossFit Games qualifier, the following classes will be cancelled:
Friday, May 1 – 7:00 pm only
Sat. May 2 and Sun. May 3 – all classes
Good luck to everyone at the games this week-end. Remember to have fun….and oh yeah, to kick butt! Weather is guaranteed to be great (‘cuz I have to sit inside x 4 days to do some learnin’).
95/115/125/135/145/145…not using the omni grip or having wrist straps precluded the weights going any higher.
Oh well 🙂
135/185/205/225/245/265/285
Holding the bar this wide felt awful on the grip
Good form in the picture. That’s one fit lady!
325 max, did not go to failure, but very close.
135, 165, 185, 205, 215, 220
Regular deadlift pb is 285
90/110/145/155/165/175
I was only able to lift 175 once. My grip wouldn’t hold. I did 2 more attempts with no success.
These are a definite grip killer. Supplementary exercises like these and snatch and clean pulls are more often performed with the aid of lifting straps.
Good luck this weekend everyone.
And good luck with the learnin too No_excuses
135/155/175/195/205/225

WOW, nice pic KM!!!
315 x 2. Built too gradual, need to start with higher weight. Wasnt sure how much grip would affect numbers. Not nearly as much as I thought
