A1.     Push Press (unbroken) – 6, 6, 6, 10, 10, 10, rest 0s

A2.     Chest to Bar Pull-ups –  5, 5, 5, 10, 10, 10, rest 2:00

B.      Thrusters (unbroken) – 10, 15, 20, 15, 10, rest 60s

Coach’s notes:  Guys use 135# for push press and gals 95#.  For thrusters guys use 85# and gals 55#, keep reps quick and unbroken and focus on your breathing pattern.

Ya, you read that right, 50 MILES!!!! Apparently, this race is described as the toughest 50 mile trail run in the US. Are you fricken kidding me, it’s 50 miles, I wouldn’t want to run that far downhill, with wind at my back. Only 22 women completed the race and Nancy finished in 15 hours, 46 minutes. Nice work!


Nancy, you’re amazing!!! I feel the same as Brett above! I’m looking forward to wodding with you when you’re recovered enough to come back!


Way to go Nancy!!! Can hardly wait to hear the stories, I bet there are some good ones.

B. 10, 15, 20, 13, 5, 15, 10 …totally spent but happy that hell was over.


A1 with Rx’d weight and A2 as Rx’d. Last set of push press was broken.
B: Used Rx’d weight but only first set was unbroken. Thrusters felt heavy after push presses.

My wrists were really sore after A, which means technically I need improving.

B) 10,12,13,10,10 – with longer breaks. Rx’d weight.

Will continue to work on my strength.

Thank you to Brett & the folks at CFC for all your support in getting me to & through the race- both mentally & physically. It was long winter of training & I was happy to have a successful, enjoyable (mostly!) day. I just need to add navigation skills to my training & I’ll be good to go again. B: did one rep, but felt stab in the back so called it a day

Ran with Mike 5 km, and played around with the wod after just to get the feeling for saturday. Felling good……
