26:13, used a band for the target pull-ups, “clapping” push-ups were “as much air as possible” push-ups, boxjumps rxd. I found this tough but fun to practice some new movements, thanks for the push-up tips Colin!


17:45. Practiced taking my hand off for the pull ups. By round 3 I was done with that. Same with the clapping push up. So for the last 3 rounds I just did C2B with purple band and push ups. 24 inch for BJ, combo of jumping up and stepping up. Great job 9 am’ers.

Pull ups – hitting the 9 ft dot.
Push Ups – 5 clapping then went to hand release. I was sloppy 1st round, but I got caught and tried my best to keep them soild. That lasted until the last round.
Box Jumps – rx’d

I love the new movement! I found a kitty cat grip and arms close together really helped.

PU: hand releasing from bar with blue band for 1st 6, but found this taxing on my elbow so switched to regular PU
Push ups: hand release 5 strict/10 from knees X 3 rnds, rest from knees
BJ: scaled reps/rnd to 15 as first time doing this height in a met con and I’m a bit slow on the cycling of the movement

Pull ups: Used red band and hit 9ft target. Tried a few without the band at the end and pulled it off. It was fun to “play”!
Pushups: clapping for first round, then went to regular push ups. Shoulders are wrecked from the last 2 days.

Used bands and a lower box and did the clapping pull ups from me knees

Did first and last round of WBTPU without coming off the bar.
Box jumps were slow but steady.
All the time went to clapping push-ups. Started with sets of 5. Ended with 15 singles.


Did some rowing intervals tonight for fun

Wasn’t trying to go 100%, moreso find a good pace and maintain it.

First time back in the gym in 5 weeks.
Didn’t complete WOD; just started to move a bit of light weight through some standard lifts.

wanted to try the new skill today. not as bad as i thought…being able to hit that target isn’t too bad.
however, this is not a good workout for me with my injuries that are so slowly getting better. felt a little something in my shoulder doing the wallball target pullups in the warm up, and high volume box jumps are not good for my achilles.

ended up doing some air bike intervals: 20sec of work 40sec rest for 10 minutes.
110 calories – first time doing intervals like this…not sure how i feel about it.
