I apologize to the early morning classes for not having them do squat cleans the way Elizabeth should be done.

10:30 @75 PC and skinny purple band for ring dips
Knee has been bugging me for a few days so opted (due tomorrow to volume) to do PC.
Ring dips started ok, but ended up with feet touching the floor, which gave me a bit of leverage (didn’t help triceps are fried from last few days!). So next time probably need a back up band to not comprise the movement (thanks Michelle for the feed back on this)

Cleans were rx’d, ring dips were negatives. Thanks Colin (even if we didn’t “get” to do squat cleans hehe)!!


95# – full squat cleans
18:20 (previous time with power cleans @95# was 11:41)

Dropped every rep. This let me reset to do a good squat clean and not a power clean with a squat added on. This meant I didn’t fry my legs resisting the weight on the way to the bottom.
This is a good baseline time for me to improve on by keeping steady with the cleans.

But… PR on squat clean quality. A few bro-reps on the rings…
Did 3 TnG cleans before cold, low carbs and not enough water kicked in. Almost quit in round of 15 of cleans but the stubborn version of me persevered.

Had no energy in this workout and got to a point where I just didn’t want to finish…also had some trouble counting to 45 tonight too…hmmm

Oops…forgot to add I used 135 for the cleans.

Not fuelled properly, no energy, and got mentally crushed by this workout. Definitely humbled.
