Complete each set in any order for time:

A. 20 Forward/Reverse Bear Crawl – 10 ft. (T & B = 1)

B. 25 Double Milk Jug Get-ups

C. 30 Forward/Reverse Shuttle Sprints – 10 ft. (T & B = 1)

D. 40 Chair Pull Throughs (T & B = 1)

E. 50 Box/Couch Jumps

F. 100 Hands on Box/Dowel Jump Overs

Coach’s notes:

Post order and time per movement, plus total working time to comments. Rest as much as can be afforded between sets.

Thanks for the coaching at the end Brett. I always have trouble figuring out what to focus on when I do sprints. I slip into endurance mode too much. Your description of the 800m sprinting really helped.

Strategy: I wanted to get my equipment and high rep movements out of the way so I could do runs and bear crawls at the end.

If I focused on keeping my heart rate high and pushing to the point of collapse, I think I would have been closer to your intention for the WOD. I do my best to listen but today I was a “bad” student.:)

I was pretty proud of my dowel hop overs, box jumps and chair pulls. I paused too much for my get ups when I consider the intent of the workout.

These are the days I learn the tough stuff.


Not quite as sprinty as I wanted, but much better than yesterday. Did sets in the following order:
1. Bear Crawl = 2:08
2. Box Jumps = 2:17, waaaaaay too slow here, but my “box” is pretty high.
3. Pull Through = 2:01, these are actually going better, key is hips up in forward position.
4. Get-ups = 1:42
5. Shuttle Sprint = 1:58
6. Hands on Couch Jump Overs = 1:24, surprising easier than expected.
Total working time = 11:20.
