Topped off at 140
Goal: Be explosive from the bottom, finishing with stellar form.
Result: Stability was great right to the end. My shoulders are feeling ready to be pushed again.
Note to self: Shoot for 155/160 next time

Before I started Crossfit, I was working on 5 sets of 10 reps of 95lbs thrusters. Today I would have no problem doing it. I could probably handle more weight too. Nice to have a feeling of accomplishment today.


Up to 185, squat portion felt good, overhead was sub-optimal today.

Definitely having some serious strength and strength capacity issues. Worked up to 185, but failed X 2, so went back down for a few sets at 165, then 135. On a positive note the 135 felt great!

Took the second rep @ 85# for a walk and then spent too long resetting for the third and juuusst missed it.
I think my 3RM is 90 so I’m feeling good about this.

Tried a few new things tonight…did all sets shoeless and didn’t rest in the front rack between reps. Tried for two quick reps then rest overhead for a breath before dropping into the third rep, seemed to be effective 🤷🏼 Probably rushed the last attempt as we were running out of time because it really felt like I should have had that one…at least a single if not the whole set.

115 x 3, 125 x 2 and couldn’t lock out that last one. Probably should have jumped more conservatively but…so many plates to clean)
