Felt intimidated by this one so my goal was to be consistent and not come out with all guns blazing in the first few rounds. Very happy with the outcome.

Thanks Michelle.

A little eager on the 1st row and paid for it on the second with a higher time. Thanks Coach Michelle & partner Brett

Tried to pace this thing and keep every interval the same time.
Damper at 7/8

So I did not succeed in this whole pacing thing…still trying to figure out how to keep my breathing under control and not freak out as well as trying to slow my heart rate enough to push hard in the latter rounds.

Thanks Jason

Hit this about right. First round felt like I was lollygagging. Last round took all I had and just managed to maintain an average time. Serious leg burn didn’t show up until round 5.

1:20.3 – “Maybe I paced that ok…”
1:21.0 – “Still good… I got this!”
1:22.2 – “That burns a little…”
1:24.3 – “Uh-oh”
1:26.7 – “Why does my right *%# hurt?”
1:29.1 – “Fek”
1:28.7 – “I’ll stick to weightlifting next time!”
Damper 9.2
Partnered with Steven who nailed it!

Derek’s post is about right…. Was aiming for consistency, but failed. Started falling apart round 5. On the positive this is the first rowing workout I have been able to complete since the end of July, that made me happy.
Thanks Jason
