This one was tough with those scary rope climbs.
Adelle: only did 5 rounds, got to about two pulls away from the top on rope climb and did a mix of GHD raises and back extensions. Average round was about 3:20.
Rick: Did all 6 rounds but did back extensions instead of raises. Average 1:57, total time 21:42.
Thanks for the socks Colin, I will need to get my own if we are going to keep climbing that darn rope.

I was nervous to do ghd raises as my hamstrings are still very tight after last weeks ghd WOD, they didnt seem to bother me to much though.

Waited probably 2 min in total for GHD machine traffic jams.
Glutes simply were not firing at all. Couldn’t even do a complete set of GHD’s so had to do back extensions for 5.5 sets.
Did 3 rope climbs from standing, 3 from sitting.


Quick question..if we use our legs on the rope is it not rx’d?

18:40 total time, spent some time waiting on rounds 2 and 5. I climbed the rope for my first time today, went 3/4 each round as I may be afraid of heights…. Did GHD until Ali encouraged back extentions. Thank you Ali for the wonderful class and teaching me how to climb the rope. You made my day!
