still feelin’ pukie.. great class!
Don’t have my splits from the 6 a.m. class but it was a very interesting test of mind over body. I think that the mind won, because if my body had an opportunity to quit, it would have. Thanks to all the encouragement of everyone!

100/110/115/120/125/130×1 couldn’t get out of my squat for the second one.
Modified: DB Front Squat
Up to 40# x 10 reps, then 45# x 3, then 45# x 8 (wrist gave, not legs)
95/105/110/115 (fx2)/115/120/125(fx2)
5 less than my PR… almost back…
Thanks Lindsay for the recount at the end – almost had to leave completely deflated. 🙂
95/105/115/125/135/140x 1/140×1 Felt fairly strong on the first one, but couldn’t push out the second. Thanks for the help Brett, Cory and Erin.
205/225/245/255/265/275 failed
65/75/85/95/105/110×1/110×2/85×2. I know I can do more but I need to work on technique. Thanks Brett and Lindsay.
185/205/215/225/235/240
My last 1RM was 232, so I was pretty happy to get 2 at 240. My 1RM back squat is 260, so there is still some weird stuff going on…
45/55/65/75/85/90
Failed the 90# twice and then got it on the third try. Noticed yet again that I get a mental and/or physical block during weight days. Once I get over the hump, I can continue and do more than I ever imagined I could. Unfortunately I overcame that hump at the very end. I don’t think that I had much more in me, but it would have been nice to keep going.
Thanks a lot Brett and Lindsay!!!
110/115/115(1)/110/110/110 I dont know but this is not what my previous max was.
Great work Cory!!
my front squat and back squat are very close as well…I think it’s because I’m quad dominant and my hamstrings are not up to snuff yet in terms of strength…get those stronger and back squat should increase…
