I’m not doing today’s WOD as I’m off to Reno and Vegas before I head home.

I just wanted today what a pleasure it was to meet all of you, get to workout with you, and get to know you! The encouragement and camaraderie shown each and every class is phenomenal at CFC. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have got to experience it for over a year. This a first class facility,, with first class members, run by first class coaches!

I will miss ALL of you and can’t wait to do a drop in and see some of you again this summer! A few people I will really miss; Alvaro and the Crossfit Cop, Cory. That friendly rivalry kept me laughing in numerous classes. Katie for her constant positive attitude and daily affirmations and compliments! Even on the day of your most hated WOD, she’ll still find a way to make you smile and believe in yourself. T-Law and Steve “The Hair” Gaspar for their constant encouragement and pointers even while they’re doing their own workout! John Sidhu for organizing a great time in Banff for a few of us! And Princess Carmen for…well…being you!

Finally, a big thank you to every coach I’ve had in my time here; James, Rob, Rob, DJ, Michelle, Chantal, Ali, T-Mar, Gord, Laura, Kris, and of course, Brett! You are all incredible and I thank you for your help and encouragement.

If anyone is in Vancouver, please feel free to drop me a line or add me on FB (Ryan Jarvis). And if anyone will be downtown during Stampede, I’ll be DJ’ing at the Wildhorse Saloon.

Sorry to be so long winded, but it’s hard to say goodbye. Thanks again CFC!

I don’t remember each set, but I got 165 / attempted 175. Thanks Kris!

Rhyno, those were the kindest words I’ve read all day! I’ll miss seeing you at crossfit- you always put it all into any workout I’ve seen you do and that in itself helps everyone- that energy helps me! All the best in Vancouver and keep in touch! Take care.

As you know I am in Vancouver next week for 2 weeks…we shall hit a CF box there…good luck to you!

Steve “The Hair” Gaspar (that was priceless 🙂 )

Judy – got to 53 lbs then went down to 43 and practiced not pulling with my arms ie bending arms too soon. Gord, it was great seeing you again. I appreciate all the great advice. Great class!
Good luck Ryan in Vancouver. Make sure you come and visit CFC whenever you are in Calgary. You will be missed.
Neil – didn’t want to phsyc myself out so didn’t really keep track of weights but ended at 145, apparently was getting good pull and good height but from my perspective it felt like I was barely getting the bar past my waist, and I didn’t think I could get under the bar, now knowing the the bar is that high I can practice getting under it. Thanks Gord for all the help and in particular about the bar height, always good to see you again!

Ryan likewise good luck in Van, hope to see you drop in from time to time.

TLDR, but have fun in Van, Ryan!

Hey Ryan,
