At 6 am we did the masters wod
Rounds in 20 mins of:
4 deadlifts
3 hang cleans
2 front squats
1 shoulder to overhead
I used 62# and did 15 rounds +9 for a total of 159
This one was a good one. Nothing better than front squat practice!
Thanks Laura and Colin.
6am as above:
used 52# and did 19 rounds for a total of 190.
Should go heavier next time.
Thanks Laura and Colin! 🙂
52/62/72(f)/77/82/87/92 x2 fail.
87 felt the best out of all of them and then Ali filmed me failing on 92 which was really helpful. Previous PR was 75.
Thanks Ali
Great job this morning, everyone seemed to be getting PRs or pretty close.
45/50/55(f)/55/57.5(f)/57.5/60 New PR (last time was 45) woo hoo…thank you, Ali, for that elbow movement tip. Made all the difference in feeling more solid. Ya know, I could learn to like this lift. Great job to Allison & Katie w/ their PR’s.
42/52/62/72/82(f)/77/82
Thanks Ali!
Did a bazillion snatches from a hover working on form and ‘no sumo stance’ with 35 & 45lbs.
Thank you for helping me Ali, and not laughing too hard when I fell down. 😉
42/52/62/67/72/77F F F/yippee for the tiny plates-74.5:))/ yahoo for the teeny tiny plates 75- I think 67 and up were all prs..glad I worked on this lift!! Thanks for the fun class Ali! Nice job to everyone in the 9:30- lots of PRs today!!
Oh, not sure if I landed in a full squat for the last one…
75/80/85/90/95f/95f/95f/95/100f/100f/100/105f/105f
Tied PR at 100.
I kept on trying even when I was failing because they were failures due to form or attitude. When I eventually did get 95 it felt easy because I finally kept the second pull in tight and dropped under it quickly and deeply.
up to 190 5 better then last time
Thanks Brett
75/ 85/ 95/ 100/ 105/ 110 fx2
Thanks Brett as always great coaching!
80/85/95/100/105/110(PR)/115f/115
Really focused on being patient in first pull tonight
Thanks Brett
Stayed light and worked on form,(33.5lbs), hadn’t done snatch in awhile…
It was fun working with you Judy!
Thanks Brett and Chelsea for the tips!
135 max
Feeling the form tonight. Mental note: Patience, pulling too soon leads to forward leaning failure.
Judy – stayed light also and work on increasing weight overhead and dropping down into a squat – 38.5 lbs
It was fun working with you too Joanne – thanks for the encouragement!
Way to go Chelsea in getting a couple PR’s with your lifts.
Neil – practiced..felt disappointed in perfomance.
Worked on form @ 33lbs. Thank you thank you thank you Brett for the tips, coaching and encouragement.
Worked up to 140.
I really enjoy the olympic lifting days, probably my favorite part of crossfit, more are always welcome. Thanks Brett for the coaching.
Worked my way from an 11 lb bar, to 16 lbs and successfully snatched 22 lbs twice! Thanks Olga for the push! Super job Allison and Katie; you were so fun to watch! Thanks Ali for the great coaching!
Thanks Brett! Today was my best lift – less sumu wrestler and more snappy! Did best at 42 pounds; 47 went south.
115/ 125/ 125/ 135F/ 130F/ 127.5F…Worked on OHS @95#
