Hannah doing

1 round for time:

2 push up burpies/15 barbell front squat

4 push up burpies/15 barbell front squat

6 push up burpies/15 barbell front squat

8 push up burpies/ 15 barbell front squat

10 push up burpies/ 15 barbell front squat

12 push up burpies/15 barbell front squat

14 push up burpies/ 15 barbell front squat

16 push up burpies/ 15 barbell front squat

18 push up burpies/ 15 barbell front squat

20 push up burpies/ 15 barbell front squat

Coach’s notes:  Guys use 55lbs, gals use 35lbs.  Chest must hit the deck on every burpie.  Scale the burpies with push up from the knees if necessary.  Post time to complete to comments.

My first thought may have been something like “Great – even Hanna/ Hannah (sorry, can never get her mom’s name right, my as well do the same with their daughter) has better form than I do.” However, Crossfit environment has never been anything but positive so ” just like her parents, I look forward to improving my technique so that I can become just like all of them!”
Notice — I haven’t posted about the workout — yet. Looks like one to do on Christmas day!

Yet another barnburner, 17:35 as rx’d. Took too much time for transitions, too much bracketing, and burpees were too slow.
Two of my least favorite high rep exercises, HSPU’s and Burpees, on back to back days.


Might need to do this friday to celebrate this workout with Hannah’s pic… and maybe even challenge myself to match fortiusfitz’s time… nice work mike! yay burpees!
