I underestimated this one. Took a while on the last snatch, failed the first 3rd rep and that added some time.
Lifting shoes are hard to skip in.

3 rounds + 2 1/2 snatch. Really wanted that last one.
Snatch and CJ @ 70#. Tried a couple @ 75# in warm up, but form was sketchy. 70# was just right.
Committed to doing 5 unbanded C2B each round, then red banded.
DUs rx’d.
All the movement felt solid.

Was trying to do lifts with good form. To do a power snatch with no pressing out I have to do about 90% of a full squat.


70# for snatch/c&j. C2b with purple/red band. Du, practice for 1 min. Had to take a pee break in round 2 ?. Got to 3rd round, finished c&j

Used 50# for snatch and C&J, once through the first rnd might have been able to go a smidge heavier on the Snatch C& J really light!
Ring rows dubbed for C2B, banded would have been easier, but I need to work on the strength…….so we’re in groups of 3/2’s
DU: practiced for a minute first rnd……too many whip marks and no success ? So switched to 108 singles for other 2 rnds so I could keep intensity

21 dubs into the 4th round. I think that equates to 255 reps or so. Really enjoyed this one.

Dropped into Barbell Stength after TT Gymnastics today…

A: Back Squat
1 set of 5 at 83%
1 set of 3 at 88%
3 sets of 1 at 93%

B: 4 sets of front rack walking lunges (10 steps)

C: Bench Press same scheme as squats

A: 1RM = 445lbs
370/395/435
435 is more like 98%…miscalculation from myself and Max…but I got all three!!

B: 135/165/175/laying on the floor

C: warmed up and then tried to lift my opening weight of 230…that didn’t go so well. Shoulder wasn’t feeling strong and way too messed up from everything else.

Might have to stop into barbell more often.
