150 Broad Jumps for distance and time
Coach’s notes: Post time to complete to comments and if you can figure it out, distance covered.
Important Reminder – CFC is hosting the last day of the gymnastic certification today so there will be no classes held. Regular class schedule resumes tomorrow.
We did part of Friday’s WOD – Tabata Push-ups
Rick 21/19/14/10/9/8/7/9 = 95
Adelle 14/12/10/9/4/8/7/7 = 71
Then we did yesterday’s hill repeats – we use to do these alot, so we have a favourite hill near the Douglas Fir Trail.
Rick hit the same mark most of the time with repeat 4 being best and the last couple not so good.
Adelle repeats 4, 8 and 10 were best once I figured out that I was actually racing Rick.
Off on vacation, so hoping that there will be more of these WOD that can be done anywhere.
We’ll also work on Rhianon a couple of times.
Started the WOD but the wind was too strong so after 5 jumps, I was 5 inches behind my starting point.
So I was going to do yesterday’s hill sprints — but no hills in Tuscany!
5 km row – 27:38
I decided to go set up the rings at the park and get through 30 muscle ups for time today. I think my upper body may have been more tired than I thought, as I was down to singles pretty quickly, and had a significant number of failed reps. Nevertheless, I got it done in a slow 17:34. I was hoping to do better, but it was still a decent workout…
