Did this on a slanted driveway with DUs on a mat to save my rope and burpees on a towel to save my body.
Rope kept catching on the end of the mat and the towel kept bunching. Could definitely shave 10-20 off this.

And I hope the neighbours enjoyed the show of me rolling around on the driveway after.

Did single skips and all burpees with jump out step in
Hard skipping on carpet! It kept tripping me up ๐Ÿ˜

Hey Crew,

Great job today everyone. That Huuuuuurt baaaaaaad! Love Castro and his deviously simple couplets. Seeing many of the comments today I too concur that the subtle changes to our environment CAN have an impact on our performance, but the best in our game are able to block out distractions and focus on, in this case, the movements. I too had my moments, carpet is a much different surface to work off of, sock feet is a different feel, not to mention the fear of missing when you don’t have shoes to protect your feet. I decided to do this in the basement which meant I had to shorten the rope a bit and the low ceiling caused a bit of distraction in addition to the few times my rope hit the ceiling. Lastly, Rhiannon added a few extra reps in round 2 and one extra in the last round of double unders, but you have to follow your judges count (at least this part I am used to) and I always appreciate a counter and judge!!!!!

Double unders were very sad ๐Ÿ˜ข, especially the first round at 4:25. I was on a yoga mat in the hallway on the carpet, Which was a little too soft and I kept tripping. Would love to try this one again at the box.

Ouch. Not quite a Fran cough for me, but close. My DUs still aren’t efficient enough. Tripped at 23 on first set, and then broke again at 80. Second set think I tripped twice? as well. Third set tripped at 38. Just need to learn to relax and not get so blown up on the DUs yet, then could really move on this one. As it was, had to take short breaks before every set of DUs to compose myself and grab a breath to try prevent tripping. Loving these comp style WODs! Missed the push of friends on this one though, did it at 7:30 tonight alone in a cold wet alley after work ๐Ÿฅบ.

7:30pm all by lonesome.

7:18 – Yikes – not as competitive of a time as I had hoped.

Did in the basement on a horse mat. Was a little nervous of the giant TV, road bike, ceiling and other junk around me. Didn’t make that big of a difference though.

First set was a nice warmup.
Second set was not very comfortable.
Last set didn’t hurt too bad until I stopped. Then it hurt Reeeeaaaaaal Bad!

Kimmer suggested that I needed to do this before the day was over,

Did this in the parking lot. So gross and dusty. Messed tripped on DU once, but made the burpees hurt.

Great work crew!

5:20 – rx rep count but scaled to jumping jacks for DUs. Still havenโ€™t worked in those since the lockdown!
