If you guys and gals get a chance check out Michelle’s push jerk video. The weight she gets overhead is 132lbs. which is more than she weighs. If you watch closely you will she that she presses the weight a bit to reach full extension, so technically she has missed the jerk. You need to catch the weight with arms locked out, but regardless this was an impressive effort. Great lift Michelle!

Great, I take a few weeks off and now my workout partner can almost push press me…might have to start working out with the Kids instead! Also, good to see that you, so very lady-like, still place the barbell down after dropping it as well! You got me motivated!


Modfied WOD for equipment available at home.
Part 1: Squat clean + 2 Push press (95, 105, 115, 125, 135, 135, 135, 135)
Part 2: Squat cleans 135 lb. 10 to 15 singles, working on technique.
Part 3: Shoulder press (95×5, 105×5, 105×4, 105×3, 105×3)

First try ever @ top load,

all at a steady 95lbs.
Form felt good.
