“Kelly” – 5 rounds for time:

400m run

30 Box Jump, 24″

30 Wallball

Coach’s notes:  Guys use a 20lb ball and gals a 12 for the wallball.  Post time to complete to comments.

Never jumped that high before but did it after I got over the initial intimidation factor. Proud I never hooked a toe the entire workout!


Did the row (400) instead of running outside in the mud.

After Kelly I did yesterdays work out. pull ups

Did row instead of run. What was frustrating was having to reset the straps on the rower especially in the later sets…this probably added 15-20 secs per round…that said this was the first 5 round WOD I have done and it humbled me greatly…combine this with yesterdays pull ups (not yesterdays WOD…kipping practice with Brett) and shoulders feel very tired…could barely pick up my bottle of water at the end of today…


Modified as follows:

Box jumps were 20″
Home made Wall ball 24lb & target at 9′-6″
Runs as Rx’d

Box jump 20″, wall ball as rx’d and row instead or run! Wow this killed me. Mentally got me at the third set. Thanks for all the encouragement guys, may have quit with out it!!


Oops…I think my time was 32:28.
What an achievement for us to perform this workout!
