Niiiiiice, Captain Corson SMOKED that event!

Stealing from gaucoin13 and his comment on OPT blog, good article @ http://journal.crossfit.com/2009/09/centres-of-excellence-part-1-1.tpl#featureArticleTitle.
Like the games pictures …..good job!

SO FUN to play with weights again… it’s good to be back!
Worked to 75# (which is 25# less then the last time, uh oh)

155,160,165,170,175, 180-2 reps. Form was lacking at 180

What I learned today….
There is a reason physio’s go to school for so long, so stop self-diagnosing and just get the correct answer right off the bat. Be out of commission this week — see you later!
Welcome back, Amy.

I apologize to anyone that has been wanting to order shoes, as I have been somewhat awol from the gym the last little bit. The hope was to get the order placed this week, so that it could be picked up next week. I will be ordering mine probably thursday or friday, so anyone that wants to get them just let me know size and style either at class or at tahylorlaw@hotmail.com

Thanks, see everyone at 6

70/75/80/85/87.5 failed x 2

foot surgery. off for a couple days.

Previous PB=95 Ibs. Felt good all through.

Awesome job John!!!!!

Failed on the third at 85 lbs. Made it the next time. Stayed there to work on technical.

Worked on technique today at 65. Thanks Brett for the help. No Excuses, I hope you heal quickly! Looking forward to hearing all about your time in China Amy (during rest times of course!)

95 / 105 / 115 / 125 / 135 / 145 / 155×1 rep

165, 185, 190, 195, 200, 205
Felt pretty good doing these. I think I had more in the tank, just ran out of time with another class coming in. Pretty confident on the catch now. Thanks Brett for getting me into a better catch position, in a quarter squat instead of so tall. Need to keep getting faster to get to higher loads next time.

Neil got to 135 lbs
Judy – practiced technique until things got really ugly at 62 lbs.

95/100/105/110/115 Last couple of lifts were getting pretty ugly, have to get my elbows under quicker.

120 x 3

worked up to 115 and failed the last one, but did a few singles after that…

Taylor aka professional ball player….size 8 style 041982…thank you!

Ok first day of school and my match is a little wonkey, i think i got to 200 and failed at 205, huge improvement for me and cant wait for the upcoming months, if i keep excelling like this i cant even guess the numbers, Thanks Brett for the class

PR up from 160×3 april 1st… not too stoked on the relatively small gain, but PR is a PR and I’ll take it.

Failed on the second rep at 200. The lift felt strong enough, but I think the bar was too far away from the body and I lost it forward in the catch. I was happy to get one at body weight though!

Ran out of time, so never made it to the failing point. Hmm, how much further could I have gone???

worked up to 92.5 – by the time I figure out to be “quick” i ran out of time – but think** I had a little more in me to try a bit heavier! next time!
Amy – great to see you back can’t wait to see some pictures!!!
Thanks Brett!

worked up to 185#’s, form was going.
Getting a little better at the catch and rack.
These need work, as do most things.

Big dissapointment, found out Linda is full squat cleans.

32 yom

Bwt – 182lbs

some ugly PC’s in there but I’ll take them…Tlaw…your PC technique was awesome! The same for nearly every rep….keep that up and your numbers will for sure climb!!

15lb improvement is, in my estimation, awesome…if I have a 15lb gain next time for this WOD I will be very, very pleased…keep up the good work…

Thanks Ali! 🙂

175/185/195 failed at 205
had trouble landing the clean in a squat position. another thing to work on

Worked up to 95# Failed at 100# multiple times, tried 97.5 and did one 🙁 and basically did a tone at 95#
