DEEEEEECENT!!

Very Proud of all the lifters this weekend! 6 lifters/ 6 medals! Let this be encouragement for all others to step outside your comfort zone. Amazing things can happen!

Nice lift Coach Aly:)
Dodgeball is at 7pm tonight. I will be a bit late as I have an appointment. See you guys there.

Wow Aly, way to go!!!
I remember you talking about how scared you were. But look at you! It seems like you really embraced it and succeeded in a big way! Congratulations!!!

…oh and I love your expression after the lift; it says it all!

I was terrified to do this competition because I didn’t like the idea of people staring at just me while I lift. During CrossFit competitions at least there is loud music and other people competing at the same time. That is comfortable for me. However, as Coach DJ said, it is important to step outside our comfort zones. This is when we learn the most.
Although I am ecstatic with my results, what this was about for me was proving to myself that I can put myself in a new and stressful environment, remain composed and still compete hard.
Check. Check. Check.
🙂
PS. What are you guys doing today to live outside your comfort zone?

Good for you Aly, way to compete!

Amaziong note and lesson Aly-Thank you! A huge congrats to all 6 lifters and to Coach DeeJay! What a great finish to the amazing TT OLY Lifting Class. I cant wait for the next session to start!

Also a big Congrats to Willi who perfected his first Muscle Up at TT Gymnastics on Sunday!!!!

Hard work certainly pays off!

Great job Aly!

@Olympicacentrum in Rief, Austria

*Added 5 pullups to each set because I only had a 33# dumbell for swings*

12 rds + 2 burps

7 rounds plus burpees, kettle bells and 4 squats. Had to stop a few times to roll my lower back as it seemed to be really bothering me today for some reason. Perfect timing for a week off.

Thanks Trevor!

12 rounds exactly.
I used the grey kb which I think is equivelant to the .7 pood but not sure. It felt heavier and looked bigger than the .5.
Thanks for your suggestions for the wod Trevor. Great workout!

10 rounds, minus the last set of squats. Used 1 pd for kb swings.

Beautiful lift Aly! Outside the comfort zone is where it’s at!
CFC has so much talent.
Great job on your first (of many) muscle ups Willi.

13 rounds + 3 burpees @1 pd

Aly, you made that lift look like a piece of cake (a piece of sugarless, healthy cake:)! I love your spirit! We are all lucky to have such an inspirational coach! Nice work!
15rds+5+11=on the floor for recovery for quite some time!
Erin, that was a super fun class, I loved the relay race warm up. Awesome coaching as always, thank you!

Legends are not created everyday but today is exception. Team Blue Balls reputation has been growing at such an incredible rate that the team we were suppose to play tonight phoned in a default on psychologial grounds…fear of facing the Blue Balls. In order to keep this legendary team happy a team of ringers was put together by Michael Power to try and stop this runaway train by giving them a game to would live up to their highly skilled play( or at least give the ringers some target practice). Team Blue Balls was lucky enough to have two new players in the mix…Taylor Marshall and Brits sister( sorry I am old and forget names). Both were intiated with multiple strikes before they could get off a throw… no mercy on the dodge ball court.. they of course quickly rallied and gave the opposition a good thrashing …well got in some good shots. Mark “the Moustache” was epic in his throws and his ability to withstand massive strikes from the opposition without crying, Taylor “the Cannon” responded with his usual questionable high throws…once again the opposition should be taller and this would not be a problem. This Old Guy ( able to get seniors discount at Denny’s and Ricky’s) was the brunt of blatant senior abuse on the part of Michael Power who continuously targeted this writer while he was trying to unfold his walker so he could play…shame on you Michael! Chelsea “the Matrix”, fresh off an acupunture session was not feeling the serenity that she arrived with and soon found herself the target of vicious and continuous hailstorms of dodge balls…she reponded with moves that should be on the TSN highlights. Overall even though the opposition tried to squeeze Team Blue Balls we were again triumphant both emotional and morally…we even won a few games. Thanks to everyone that played and has helped to grow the legend of Team Blue Balls…satisfaction guarenteed despite the name 🙂

Hmm how do I follow that? I nominate Old Guy to get a spot on Sportcentre!
Congrats Aly, awesome lift!

As for me…9 rounds + 5 burpees + 12kb as Rx’d. I think this is my first as Rx’d workout!! 🙂
Thanks Erin, great class! Warm up was fun 😀

9 rounds as required plus 4 burpees. fun warm up Erin.

Love it Colin!

11 rounds + burpees + KBS + 8 squats (with 1 pood KB)

All unbroken except one set of KBS. Tried to go slow and steady. Was somewhat successful; still sore from last Wednesday’s WOD. Will the pain ever go away???

Thanks Erin for a fun class. It was nice to mix things up a bit during warm-up. Great times!

Great lift Aly!!! Impressive … and you made it look so easy 🙂
14 rounds +5+15 (1 pood KB)
Thanks Trevor! Great class this am

7 rounds + 5 burpees. Thanks for coaching Erin!

13 rounds +3

Colin, that is freakin’ hilarious! What you left out though is that the walker was just a sham, and instead you would often unleash that cannon of an arm you have and get me out almost as often as I got you… *almost*

Way to make that lift look easy Aly! Congrats to all the medallists from this past weekend.

Completed 11 rounds as rx’d (1pd).

8 rounds+ burpees and 2 kb swings.
warm up was fun- thanks Erin
