Up to 275, so I beat 2019 Ryan! (I think he was having a rough day though…) Felt pretty good strength/positions wise, stability still feels off.

Getting one @ 105# was a big victory tonight.
Feeling the benefits of the dowel work again. Noticed a huge improvement with my elbow speed and keeping my elbows up.

Nice to see a couple of the 6am crew.

Deja vu all over again…felt great…until it didn’t.
Hit that glass ceiling hard and there was no moving past it for love or money. Keep trying to tell myself that at least I haven’t lost any ground so it’s okay, but still feeling discouraged.

Yup, pretty sure I got a PR today 🙂 and pretty sure I can thank all the dowel Zoom WODs. Also my body may have been a teensy bit more awake at 5:15pm than it ever is at 6am. Did quite a few more than 7 sets but last 3 were at 75#. Still lots of things to improve in my form so focused on that. Thanks, Shannon and thanks 5:15’rs!!


Worked up from 55 to 90 (5lb away from PR!)
Managed to get one set for 2 at 90 then it was only singles and fails for the second lifts. Thanks Shannon for the extra help!! Next time, it will be a new PR

Felt good getting under 165# but couldn’t stand it up!


Honestly did not go quite as I had hoped. Worked up to 205#, but did not like what I saw, left hand kept slipping out on me, so went back down to 185 and 135.
On a much more positive note, busy, big classes for this lifting day and saw tons of great movement.
