Hi Chantal – is there crossfit preschool today? won’t be at the 9:30 class – but will be able to make kids class with Reese if it is still on.
CrossFit PreSchoolers will be at Arbour Lake (as long as weather holds out)…bring your bathing suits!!
Did Friday’s WOD – GHD sit-ups were modified & sub’d 145# DL…time was 29:19
a very shaky 75#
Worked up to 45lbs.
Still gaining back what I’ve lost after a couple weeks, more or less, off.

Really light BUT able to finally hold a bar over my head with a wider grip. First time in over a year! And now to wait for the feeling to return to my thumb…..
worked easy to 135, working on speed and it was better than i thought it would be. been doing these in my warmups steady the last month or so. switched to squat cleans for the 7pm class and had an epiphany thanks to Brett and DJ. Cannot wait for these to come up in another workout. Bring on an Elizabeth!!

Judy – practice with snatch grip overhead…too cautious with concern of my shoulder tear…
Worked up to 125#, which took me a few tries due to a lack of commitment getting under the bar once it started feeling heavy. But when I finally got it, it felt pretty good.
Wasn’t really working towards a max weight; focused more on technique and getting comfortable with it. Still very shaky in a squat with weight overhead. Slowly worked up to 32#. Decided to stay there and not go any higher as I was struggling to even just balance that weight at the bottom of the squat.
Afterwards worked on pull-ups (thanks for your help Carmen and Cory). Almost got my first one!
85#, failed at 95. Super frustrating, i think it’s psychological, scared of bashing in my brain or something. More practice.
Also cycled to and from school, and played 35 minutes of summer league bball.
Good to hear the cleans worked out taylor.
