Up to 205 properly. Couldn’t pull the hang high enough at 215. tried twice. Made the power clean pretty easy at 215 two times. Then did a hang clean at 215 once as well, just couldn’t put the complex together.
95/135/165/185 for 1/2
205/215fail for 1/1
Yea, didn’t work up to working weight very smartly 🤷.

Well that deteriorated quickly….
115/135/155 for the 1/2, feeling good and moving on to the 1/1….
165/175 (That was when Josh noticed my funky hips)/185 (videoed this one so I could see what was going on, and missed it to boot)/155/165 (trying to correct said funky hips)
Still wasn’t going well so I did a pile at 135 trying to repattern muscle memory. How do you fix something you can’t feel you’re doing?? Hmmm…🤨🤔🤷🏼 A conundrum to be pondered for sure….

Wasn’t even sure I was going to wod today. My hips we’re fee-fi-fo-fucked after yesterday’s single arm alternating dumbbell push jerks. But after a solid warmup I decided to go until my back said no…. it didn’t say no.

1 power clean and 2 hang power cleans: 135 / 155 / 175

1 power clean and 1 hang power cleans: 185/ 205/ 215 / 225 / 235 / 240 failed hang power clean x2

240 hang squat clean is in my wheel house, I just spent to long under tension between the PC and HPC. Really focused on a slow initial pull (1-2-go!) and pausing in the bottom of the partial squat.
