Coach’s notes: Guys use 20 lbs, gals use 14 lbs for wallballs to 10 ft. Post time to complete to comments.
Interesting doing strict pull-ups…very hard not to kip. Arms toast by the end.
As rxd= 9:10
Blue/purple band assisted strict pu’s, push ups from the knees & 8# ball…total time = 23:58. Was surprised how fatigued I got toward the end. Took 2 attempts to get the last set of unbroken wallballs.
yeah my pullups were pretty slow.
10:46
16:45
Purple band for strict pull ups, 12lb wb and push ups from toes. That last set of wb’s were a killer. My arms felt like rubber and the ball seemed to be bouncing off of everything except the red line. Unfortunately I didn’t accomplish unbroken wb’s.
Took it really easy on the pull-ups and push-ups then rested before wallballs. Goal was to stick with 20 lbs and do all 5 sets unbroken. Got to 4 sets +12 +3. A few didn’t hit the line.
16:17
12:23
Finished with tabata sit-ups 17/17/15/15/13/13/13/14
13:14 very scaled
Strict pull ups with green band. Even with the green band still found myself kipping some.
Push ups from knees
WBs with 8 lb ball – all sets unbroken
My time should make everyone feel super fast;) 25:29 as rx’d- I’m happy with this because there was a time when I couldn’t even manage one pull up. I had to redo one set of wallballs. Always happy to be done. Thanks Brett!
Good work in the 6pm class tonight!
Neil as rx’d 15:47
Judy 17:25 – Pullups with blue/purple band, pushup from knees, 6 lb wallball – sets unbroken otherthan the odd one went straight up and didn’t hit the wall
As Rx’d (except 20#DB/hand thrusters for wallballs)
9:09
oh goodness! everyone should feel really impressed with their wodsbecause my time super slow! 23:32!! chinups, pullups as rx’d wallballs: 14 lb, 12,12,10,10,10, last round 8 – felt light but my arms I don’t think would have held up. (perhaps it was from yesterdays deadlifts and 1 1/4 chinups – or maybe I am looking for excuses!)
Katie nice work on rx’d wod!!!! great job everyone!!!
I think I did this wod wrong ??? unless it was written down differently from above
9:30 class showed 15,13,11,9,7,5,3 for chinups(pushups/wallballs the same)
any clarification – what did the later classes do?
9:19,
Tons of singles on the pullups.
Krista, you poor thing – you did two extra sets of pull ups, now that’s something I normally do! The pull ups were 15/12/9/6/3 – push ups remained at 10 and wallballs were 15 unbroken each time.
ugh! thanks Katie – I’m blaming Brett on this one! hee hee! figures I’d do something that silly!
What is posted above and what was written on the board for the 9:30 class differed by quite a few reps.
10:16 as rx’d.
Wod definitely exposed two weaknesses, pullups and pushups. Wallballs felt easy. Pullups were all singles after the first round and push ups just flat out sucked. Thanks Brett

Majority of pull-ups as rx’d. In set of 12 did 6 unassisted and 6 with purple band. Rest were all unassisted, which is a major achievement for me considering that I did my first strict pull-up only 5 or 6 weeks ago.
Push-ups as rx’d
Wallballs massively scaled. Started off with 10#, but couldn’t even do 15 unbroken with that. Went down to 8# and even that was a challenge. I have totally lost the rhythm and coordination of these. I have been doing workouts with 14#, but always throw it up, let it drop (just too freaking heavy), catch it off the bounce and go again. In exchange I haven’t done any consecutive wallballs in a long time. Today was great and made me realize that I really have to work on these!!! I failed the sets a total of 6 times!
Thanks Brett and great work everyone!!!
10:54 as rx’d, regardless of what Alvaro says about my pullups!
14 something with a 12 pound ball. Had to repeat a full set of wallballs due to Cory and Brett. My pull ups were absolutely perfect unlike Cory’s. 🙂
I have to admit Cory’s wallballs are really good! Hight for sure helps!
Forgot to keep track of time but I think it was around 23 min.
All pull up were are rx’d. Wall balls @ 12lbs for all rounds. All wall balls were unbroken except the last round which I made to 13 and just did not have it in me to repeat the round. Push ups were all from toes but with chest to mat. Pushups were all unbroken except last round ( 5 + 5 ).
Katie and Cory great work on doing this as rx’d.
Thanks Brett!
As rx’d – 8:47
