…if squat snatches weren’t already hard enough….just tire yourself out with WBs first! Kept my weight lighter to try and nail the bottom – still had a fun time balancing a few of the reps.

Scaled the weight to 53 for the snatches and 10# for the WB finished at 25:34 so 15:34 working time…this was a tough one thanks Erin and Jay


Did 3 rounds with 30X16#WB and 95# (73% of 1 RM). Still coming off a cold.
4:02 – 5:35 – 5:30
WB got slower, snatches got faster (failed 2 in round 1)
Notes to future self:
A better Skinny Masters scaling would be 20X14#WB if this comes around again.
Also, sneak off into the corner during the coaching and spend time warming up to the snatch weight.

kept the weight light so I could focus on catching the snatch in the squat position and not doing a snatch followed by an OH squat. This is the best they have ever felt but they still require a lot more practice.

My lower back locked right up on me after the 2nd round and in the 3rd and 4th round I tried stretching and rolling out between rest periods but hanging from the bar, man that’s the ticket!
