Today was very exciting because I got my first ring muscle up ever!!!
I didn’t do 30 but I was able to do 10. yay!

A. 6:44. Not quite as good as last time, need to train these more again, it’s been a while.

B. Some of the best little sets of handstands and short walks I’ve been able to do. Slowly coming.

Nice work to Erica and Arianne, amazing first muscle ups. To get 10 on your first day is pretty wild! Strong ladies.

A. 12:49 rx’d. Last time 8:40. Pretty much all singles today which is the reason I was so much slower. Left
Shoulder wasn’t interested in lowering to string them together, so I went with what felt ok.
B. Managed a couple of decent free standing holds.

Finally did proper ring muscle ups with no chicken wing today!!

I didn’t really do the workout. I did ~15 jumping muscle ups and then worked on my ring ones. Had a few sketchy tries but then manage 7-8 proper ones! 🎉

Excited to see where I can go with these now that I understand the transition & had fun working on gymnastics stuff too.


Well… I’m no gymnast like everyone else in my class this morning, each getting 10 muscle ups first try then topping that great success off with a few well executed handstands, BUT I would like to say my 30 5point ring muscle up routine went very well. Yeah. So there! I can do stuff too, yah know!

I’m experiencing a considerable strength improvement on my pulls and dips. No shaking arms. Hand stand holds felt very steady today too. 15 seconds away from the wall today.

Fun seeing all the success this morning.
