Failed to squat snatch in the first round of 115 and one squats notch in the second round of 115.

First round was 95#, second set 100#, then started to fail a bit and was just really feeling it in the wrists and stuff today so dropped to 75# for the rest of round two and round three, and then went to 85# for the final round. Good, fun, little different WOD.

That was a really exciting workout because the last time I snatched was at the Pyromania competition and my max for a power snatch/hang power snatch/ over head squat was 75#
This time I did
55#
65#
70#
75#
So I did much more reps at 75# and they felt good!! So I’m excited that my technique is getting better.

Started at 55# for first round and then 65# for second. Was feeling pretty sluggish today after doing yesterday’s WOD at 6pm, and quick turnaround for 6am this morning. 75# did not feel good technically, so dropped back to 65#..
Hoping these improve one of these days.. I will take the win for showing up at the 6am class😅

If I had to do this again I would wrap my wrists because I have granny wrists from my years in gymnastics/cheerleading 😂
Really tried to focus on technique and pay attention to how they felt. I found myself falling backwards/putting weight on my heels a lot which is different than my usual. Thanks Shannon!

Erica, very proud of you, as I mentioned after the comp., you would PR this lift the next time I programmed it, good job. Ari, glad to see the increased awareness and putting weight in the heels is very good progress. Love to see everyone enjoying this WOD and especially how everyone was moving, lots of focus on good technique. Overall, this was exactly what the doctor ordered, needed this one today, despite staying light for all my sets. Enjoy evening Crew!!!!!
