Thrusters are my Kryptonite. If there was one CF movement I would choose to never do again it would be these. But I showed up, did them and they were actually okay.

14:10. Thrusters were done in sets of 4-5. I will fix these this summer, they really hurt me today.
After I tried to see where my strict press was at since my shoulders were warm. 185 x 1 was all I had today. Thanks Michelle.

A) 10:23 as rx’d. Thrusters didn’t go great today. Started with 15 then had to go to sets of 5. Thanks for the push on the run at the end Josh.

C) 400m walk (definitely not a jog) with a 50# weight vest and carrying an 80# sandbag
D) 200m Farmer’s Walk 50# DB while wearing a 50# weight vest.

First day back after a week and a half off. Felt good. All of the Oly lifts remain my challenge but my form is improving each time πŸ™‚

Ha, ha, Nick! I may have been tempted. Turned out it wasn’t horrible. Maybe because it was 30 in stead of 84! πŸ˜‰


12:42. I seem to lose the ability to time the thrusters properly once I get fatigued so they end up becoming a front squat plus a shoulder press. Add this to the growing pile of stuff I need to work on.
