Keeping the Crew Safe
We, at CrossFit Calgary take the health and well being of our members to heart. In response to COVID we have put in place some health and safety procedures for our re-opening on June 12.
Please take the time to read and review what we are doing to keep the Crew safe when WODing by visiting our COVID Response webpage here.
All classes now require pre-registration ONLINE. Click here to sign up for classes.
We are happy to relaunch our teens classes!
Classes start Tuesday, June 23 and pre-registration is happening now!
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-5:30pm
Sundays from 11:30 – 12:30pm
UPDATE: as of Friday, November 13 until Friday, November 27 (inclusively) all in person teen classes have been cancelled due to the mandated “Circuit Breaker” closure issued by the Alberta government. Announced on Tues. Nov. 24, this closure was extended until December 15, 2020. All teens with active memberships will have access to our virtual classes during this time. Please see your inbox for an email with more information.
COVID CIRCUIT BREAKER CLOSURE
Despite the amazing efforts of our community to keep us all safely WODing in person and keeping COVID out of our box, sadly we must adhere to the “Circuit Breaker Closure” issued today.
As announced Thursday, November 12 at 3:30pm, by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Deena Hinshaw and Premier Jason Kenney, all fitness classes are mandated to cease temporarily from Friday, November 13 to Friday, November 27 (inclusively) in efforts to curb the rising number of positive COVID-19 cases. On Tues. Nov. 24 these restrictions were extended until December 15, 2020.
As such, CFC will pause in-person classes for the dates stated above and will return to virtual classes. All current active members are asked to look in their inbox for more details on class schedules.
If you haven’t already done so, please join our private Facebook group, “Foster Community with CrossFit Calgary” for access to more information and to stay connected with the daily updates and ongoing services for CFC members.
Again, we thank each of our members who have worked so hard at staying healthy and keeping our community members healthy. We look forward to keeping you moving and engaged in fitness over the next two weeks. Hope you didn’t throw out your milk jugs!! 😉
