Last time I did this was 2yrs ago just as my shoulder was on the outs! Used 32# @ 3:12, before then was in the old gym 43# @ 4:24……. So today definitely an improvement!
Did 10/3/3 rest in 2’s……..definitely a few press outs, but then a year ok wouldn’t have been able to press 50lbs out…..good day ?

I keep leaving comments for my future self to go heavier to force good form and I keep ignoring that advice. Today I de-emphasized form and just lifted the weight over my head in a snatch-like manner as fast as I could go. Lots of muscling the bar up but this got the workout done before my body had time to get cranky and stop working like it often does.

B: Strict Push Press
1)Work up to 3RM
-got to 3X150#
2)Then 2 sets of 3 at 3RM less 5%
2 sets @ 142.5
3)Then 3 max rep sets at 3RM less 30%
3 sets at 105# for reps of 12/12/9

Played around with some clean and jerk complexes
