Up to 83, my old (very old) 1 Rep max!
Did several @ 78 as working on my split jerk…….clean is the easy part, need to just go for the jerk and trust my shoulder can do what it is meant to.
Have reached or passed most of my old PR’s now, so time to have a little faith……

Worked up to 225, made the clean at 235 but just didn’t commit to the jerk.

Yoga in the park in the Kootenay’s, hard for me to sit still for so long, but fun to try! Apparently I get distracted easily :0


Shared the bar with coach today, just tied to keep up.

135/185/205/225/235/245(no jerk)/245/255(no jerk)

Cleans felt really good today, technique is coming, weights aren’t quite there yet.

Lots of reps working on getting to that high hang position and not sending the bar out but up.

Been a long time since I’ve had some quality C&J and 225 felt pretty good (all thugs considered)

Made 195# on C&J
Up to 205# on clean – missed jerk
PR by 10# on C&J and PR by 5# on Clean. Happy with today!
Need to work on keeping bar in tight and getting lower and under on the heavier weights. Still too much early bending of arms.
