Did not have my Crossfit math brain going this morning, did not realize it was 10 rounds 🙁 . Used 95 lbs and just tried to keep moving, got through 7 rounds in 30 minutes. PJ was not happening in that last round.

After the first round, I realized how fried my back was from deadlift the other day, so decided to try keeping my rounds to 3 mins. I did finish in 30 minutes, but then I realized that my math was a little off and I completed it with 165#.

Was thinking 95# but that felt heavy in warm-up so went to 85#. Weak link was grip on cleans, which eventually killed the grip for DL too. Had to break both up to recover grip. Had lots of breath. PJ were unbroken at least.

If I felt like I had anything left I would have finished it.

I just couldn’t tell myself to get back on the bar and move. A bit disappointed that I didn’t finish the workout.

First off I should have went from my last deadlift into my first HPC and last HPC into my first PJ…will save me 1:00 next time :p.
Regardless that sucked first workout I actually felt like puking in so I really slowed down my last 2 sets. Finished my first 5 well paced sets in 13:00.
Thanks Derek for the moral support. Otherwise I would have finished in the 8:00 pm class.
