First round of OHS 47lbs, then 42lbs for the remaining sets.
This is the first time I’ve done the full reps for DU’s. The 300 reps gave me plenty of practice. This was a challenging workout. Thanks for your encouragement Michelle!

Starting some version of strength bias crossfit. a.k.a. heavy lifts then scaled metcon.

BS 155×5, 165×5, 175×5
3 rounds in about 13 mins with 75#.
Was going to stop there, but sat down for a few minutes then decided to just finish. Last round took a long time, several sets to finish the OHS.

I couldn’t decide whether to wear weightlifting shoes or not, so I tried a few double-unders with them on, and it seemed fine, so I went with it. After the first set of OHS my DUs were a mess, I’m not sure if the shoe was just a bit longer, but I was catching my toe on the rope. Jumping slightly higher eventually got things under control, but it was a bit frustrating.

The slow part was definitely the OHS though. I’m not sure how the time for this workout should compare to Nancy, but I was about 1:50 slower. OHS was broken 18-7/10-8-7/8-7-5-5/7-6-6-6 (or something like that).

27:13 as rx’d. DU were challenging today- they took forever. Thanks for all of the encouragement Michelle, David and Corey! Du and pull ups for all warm ups for me from now on.


Neil – 30 mins – lst rd 85 lbs straight through & tried DU but ended up doing 150 singles/rd, rd 2 – 4, 75 lbs OHS & 150 singles/rd
